Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family of faith, surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God’s grace was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.

The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several international best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon is following in her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word with the World. Also known by CSO as a singer, she is an award-winning, talented gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known in the present as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned a BSc in Architecture. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world 24/7 continuously on free-to air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. In Canada, Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year which allow the manifestation of miracles.
